This site came into existence when I took up a ‘learning 4 growth’ opportunity offered through my employer IBM. The learning 4 growth program allows employees to spend time on secondment with IBM business partners, in this case Design London.

Design London is an organisation created by the combination of the Royal College of Arts, Imperial Engineering and Imperial Business College; it’s aims are to bring together design, engineering, science and business to explore and define radical design led innovation practices.

My part in this is to lead the Innovation Technology Centre within Design London. This centre has the largest permanent 3D stereoscopic projection system in London, used to visualise products, infrastructures and services. This allows interdisciplinary teams to visualise their objective in 3D and manipulate it as a key part of the innovation process.

This unique capability is at the heart of the services and consultancy offered by the Innovation Technology Centre to industry and the supporting organisations.
